Universal Orlando Express Pass

The Universal Orlando Express Pass gives guests access to certain attractions with shorter waiting times. It provides an ideal theme park experience.

With less waiting in line, thanks to this premium pass, visitors may explore Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure with unmatched convenience and speed.

How does Express Pass work in Universal?

When you purchase a Universal Express Pass, you enter a different line at the attraction.

You don’t need to pay extra for the attractions or choose their return times.

Using the express pass is straightforward. Each participating attraction includes an entrance for express pass holders; just show your pass and enter the line.

You can ask a team member if you need help locating the express pass line.

The express pass is not an entrance ticket. You will need separate theme park admission to enter the parks.

It is valid only for one calendar day. You must choose a specific day when purchasing since the pass is only valid on that day, even if you don’t ride every ride.

Moreover, the express pass is only valid for one person and cannot be shared.

This ticket includes

  • Skip the lines at participating rides.

How is a Universal express pass different from a general admission ticket?

This Universal Express Pass lets you skip regular lines on rides at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

The pass lets you use a shorter line at rides and attractions than regular ticket holders.

You can buy Universal Studios Orlando tickets with an Express Pass.

The Universal Express Pass is an add-on you can purchase to avoid long queues.

You will always have to buy a general admission ticket to gain entry to the two theme parks at Universal Studios Orlando.

Why buy the Universal express pass?

The Universal Express Pass and the Universal Express Unlimited ticket are expensive but worthwhile.

They let you avoid the lines and spend more time on the rides.

Use the Universal Express pass during busy times like summer, Christmas, and New Year’s at Universal Studios Orlando.

The Universal Express pass is a well-liked addition to the regular Universal Orlando Resort theme park tickets.

The pass can sell out as only a limited number of passes are sold daily.

You must buy them online in advance if traveling during the bust times.

What rides are included in the Universal express pass?

The Universal Express pass covers the majority of the rides at Universal Orlando.

Now, 29 rides at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida offer the express pass, though the included rides might change.

The two rides currently excluded from the express pass are —

  • Velocicoaster, the Jurassic Park coaster at Islands of Adventure
  • Hagrid’s Magical Creatures ride in Harry Potter’s Wizarding World.

Look up the Universal Orlando Express Pass’s list of rides and shows on their official app or website using the express pass filter.

What is the difference between a Universal express pass and an unlimited express pass?

The Universal Express pass lets you use express lines once at certain attractions.

Conversely, the unlimited express pass gives unlimited access to the shorter line at participating attractions.

The additional fee for unlimited varies depending on the day and is around $30 per person.

Express Pass Vs. Single Rider

Single Rider permits lone riders to use a separate line to fill ride vehicles when ideally sized groups aren’t available.

Eleven of Universal Orlando’s rides have single-rider queues available.

While this is much less than the 29 rides Universal Studios Orlando Express tickets offer, the Single Rider lineup consists primarily of highly well-liked rides.

The Incredible Hulk, Rip Ride Rockit, Spider-Man, Forbidden Journey, Reign of Kong, Transformers, Escape from Gringotts, Return of the Mummy, Hagrid’s (not included in the express pass), Men in Black, and Fast & Furious are among the included rides.

While less dependable than Fast Pass, single-rider lines cost no money.

You must ride individually if your family chooses the single-rider line. If visiting with a large group, you may have to wait longer than expected for everyone to board.

Is the Universal Studios Orlando unlimited express pass worth it?

The unlimited express pass lets you have more fun on participating rides without waiting in long lines as much as you want.

The unlimited express pass is ideal for those with small children who usually like to enjoy the attractions more than once.

If you plan to explore the whole park and ride each attraction once, choose the general express pass over the unlimited one.

You can also use the single-rider line, particularly if only one person in your group truly needs to ride more than once.

Is Universal Studios Orlando Express Pass worth it?

With a Universal Orlando Express Pass, you can bypass the standard Universal Studios ticket queues once for each participating ride.

This ticket is valid at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.

Or get a Universal Express unlimited pass to extend the enjoyment.

This ticket lets you skip regular lines unlimitedly on rides at Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios.

Both Express Pass choices require separate Universal Orlando theme park entrances.
