Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle

Enjoy the magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle with decorations, garlands, and lights.  

The festive projection-mapping show recreates the regular show—Hogwarts Castle’s Night-time Lights.

With special holiday music by The Frog Choir and Celestina Warbeck, savor exclusive culinary selections at The Three Broomsticks and The Leaky Cauldron.

The general theme-park entry ticket covers the Hogwarts light show at Universal Studios Orlando and other Wizarding Christmas extravaganzas.

Along with a Santa appearance, you can watch larger-than-life portrayals of characters from Despicable Me, Madagascar, and Shrek.

The Universal Studios Orlando evening show parade is held daily at around 5.30 pm.

You may watch the parade before Revenge of The Mummy: The Ride or in front of Starbucks.

Watch the famous Dr. Seuss book “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” brought to life in this heartwarming live stage show starring The Grinch and the Whos from Whoville.

Admission to the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular is included in the theme park admission ticket or annual pass.

The first show usually starts around 11 am daily and runs until the park closes. 

Dine at Circus McGurkus Café Stoo-pendous in the company of Who and the Grinch for The Grinch and Friends character breakfast. 

However, this character breakfast costs an extra $42 (plus tax) for adults and $27 (plus tax) for children.

A well-known musical ensemble, Mannheim Steamroller, is renowned for its modern takes on traditional Christmas songs. 

Mannheim Steamroller will give a live show at Universal Studios Orlando during the holiday season. 

The group’s performances are some of the must-see shows at Universal Studios Orlando for anyone looking to get into the holiday mood.

Featuring their distinctive fusion of contemporary and traditional elements, the Music Plaza Stage will host live performances on 3, 4, 10, and 11 December at 7 pm.

Celestina Warbeck & The Banshees

Watch Celestina Warbeck, Molly Weasley’s favorite singer, perform live in a jazz style with the help of her adorable, dancing Banshees.

It includes songs like ‘You Stole My Cauldron, But You Can’t Have My Heart,’ ‘A Cauldron Full Of Hot, Strong Love,’ and ‘You Charmed The Heart Right Out Of Me’.

This 12-minute show happens six to ten times daily, starting at roughly 10 am.

J.K. Rowling is the author of the Celestina Warbeck character, and the musical features traditional wizarding and new songs composed mainly for the park.

Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees perform a special show during the holiday season.

They perform songs including ‘Nothing Like a Holiday Spell,’ ‘Accio Christmas,’ ‘My Baby Gave Me a Hippogriff for Christmas,’ and ‘A Witch and Wizard’s Wintry Wondrous Land.’

Sitting is limited near the stage; you must arrive early to secure a seat or stand to view the show.

The Blues Brothers Show

Based on the 1980 film The Blues Brothers, the show features Jake and Elwood in their signature black suits, porkpie hats, and dark glasses for a combination of songs.

This performance puts you in direct contact with ‘the bad boys of blues’ from the shady streets of Chicago.

The Blues Brothers show at Universal Studios Orlando first performance usually starts at 11 am, with subsequent repeat performances happening roughly every hour.

The Night-Time Lights at Hogwarts Castle

However, it starts when the sun sets, at around 7.15 pm, and repeats roughly every 20 minutes until the park shuts.

Universal Orlando’s Cinematic Celebration

Enjoy a night filled with music, water, and light while having a fresh cinematic experience, revisiting your day at Universal Studios Florida.

The Cinematic Celebration at Universal Orlando features famous movies and characters. 

It projects them onto enormous water screens, fountains, fireworks, and lasers.

It seamlessly fuses technology with entertainment, thus providing a singular, immersive experience transcending other park performances.

Enjoy the show on 40-foot-wide curtains with 120 water fountains, lasers, and fireworks. 

Grab a good spot and celebrate the conclusion of your exciting day with Harry Potter, Jurassic World, Despicable Me, Fast & Furious, E.T., and others.

The three-tiered viewing area for the performance can accommodate up to 6,500 people. 

The best spot, farthest away from the water, allows you to take more of the vista, protecting you from the water fountains’ various sprays.

Only one performance of the Cinematic Celebration takes place each evening, and the show might only be available on some nights of the year.

This show depicts the history of horror films produced by Universal Pictures. 

You can see how professional makeup and special effects artists create the spooky figures seen in movies.

It is one of the last shows in Universal Studios Orlando that has been running since the park’s inception.

It provides a hilariously intriguing insight into filmmaking with an engaging demonstration with iconic movie clips and props.

Typically, this 25-minute show begins between 11.30 am and 12.45 pm. The times for the show will change according to the day and season.

Poseidon’s Fury

Explore the remains of the historic Temple of Poseidon, the Greek deity of the sea, with the help of an archaeological guide.

This indoor attraction portrays the sea god Poseidon against his deadly enemy, Lord Darkenon, in a battle combining live action and many special effects.

Four different kinds of lasers, smoke machines, 200 flame effects and movie screens are all used in the 15-minute action show.

Waterworld show Universal Studios Orlando

The live-action show ‘Waterworld’ is not available at Universal Studios Orlando.
